Craft Discussion: The Russian Join

Just as a foot note, for all you yarn folk out there, when you get to the end of your yarn, what do you do? Do you know how to do a Russian join?

Did you know it was National Craft Month? I had no idea!

SOPA

I didn't take down The Bean Stalk today, because blacking out a site seems childish to me, but still, enjoy this blog post on the topic.

Don't forget, we deal with pictures and videos of copywrighted characters, so this DOES affect you and me.

Then, call them. Call all of them. Even the ones who will be blocking it. Tell the ones you agree with good job, tell the ones you don't agree with what's going on. They need to HEAR from YOU. A phone call is the best and most direct thing you can do! And it's much better than blacking out your site, taking your ball and going home. Yes, I'm bitter.

You've heard of steampunk, right? The idea is what would have happened if society never discovered electricity, mostly. It's also about making things look as mid 1800s as you can get it. Addy's a pretty natural fit.

True fact, when I first started The Bean Stalk up, I modeled it after this place. There are plenty of crafts to keep you occupied, and you might go have a look at her C-Box on the front page to see what other people are saying. The bulk of the site takes you through Star Valley.
