Final Post Of The Year!

I figured I'd tie up the year by doing a post on my five favorite outfits released in 2011. If you do a post like this, tell me so I can link to it!

All right! Top 5 doll outfits released in 2011, number 5:

Most of the historical spring outfits were dull and pink. This one had the huevos to stand out! Very cool. I'm probably Julie biased, though.

Number 4:

Maybe I'm not nuts about the logo, but I dig purple, and I LOVE clothes that actually looks like what kids wear.

Number 3:

This is my favorite of the Marie-Grace/Cecille releases. It's simple, but it's got a lot of nice detail, and that's a rare color in the American Girl collection.

Number 2:

It needs a belt, but dang, don't it look nice and warm?

Number 1! Drumroll!

Love the color. Love the ruffles. Love the whole thing, and I hope it makes it into my collection this year!

Doll Sleepover

On Saturday, my friends Robin and Tracey came over for a doll sleepover. Seriously. We're not twelve, we swear.

Robin made me this, and I am so stinking excited that somebody made me a birthday present. It's so cute! It's knitted, which is double exciting, because I SO cannot knit.

Bean Stalk Updates!

There's a LOT, too! Let's do this.

First up, hot off the press, there's a Pictionary update: click HERE! I've gotten the stuff to add to the entries for #6, #13, #27 and #50.

As always, feel free to send me more pictures for the Pictionary. You know I'll always credit you. I need, well, anything and everything, but if you've got Marie Grace and Cecile pictures, that's even better!

Then, I've updated the sewing table with two finished projects: one and two. I don't want to take up too much space on the page, but I'll at the least put up a picture of my favorite:

AG Places Do Online Reservations -- I Never Knew!

I may or may not be the last person on the planet to discover this, but the AG Places do online reservations!

My friends and I are taking a trip to Atlanta, and my friends were curious as to why my husband loves the AG Bistro so much. (He is seriously nuts over the food.) I almost called them to make a reservation, but when I loaded the website up, I discovered they'll take it online!

I was MOST impressed with the fact that they asked about accommodations, because we have one friend in a wheel chair and another friend allergic to eggs. They gave me a conformation number, and I took a picture with my phone just to make sure I had it.

One thing I didn't like? It was in flash, so I couldn't do it from my iPad.

... unless AG wants to go ahead and make an AG Place app ... ?

Doll Room Tour #1

We moved into this house, and it had an extra room, and we both immediately went, "TOYS!"

I really wanted to take you all around this place. Here's a tour of our toy room. It is very much a work in progress, so excuse the mess.

An immediate shot of when you enter the room. Told you it was a work in progress!

This shelf has all my Ellowynes. I love that dress, supernoname girl made it for me!

I'm trying to set up some furniture down below the shelves. Here's Kirsten's table! I got the table set in a Playthings swap. I wish I could remember who gave it all to me.
